Bringing Your Kitten Home: The First Few Weeks

Bringing your new kitten home is exciting for you, but your new kitten is still needs time to get settled into its new home. The first few weeks are an important time because this is when he gets used to his routine and starts getting comfortable around you and any other animals in the home.

Before your kitten comes home, make sure you have the items listed above. As your kitten is exploring his new home, his little box, food and water bowls, and cat bed should be in its place. With everything set up, let the kitten see where his litter box, water bowl, and bed are. You want him to roam around but also keep a close eye on him.
