Proudly we are one of the very few practices in the area that do not out source ultrasound diagnostic imaging, being able to provide you a same day prompt diagnosis. All our ultrasound are read by board certified radiologists or cardiologists.

 Ultrasound is a form of imaging that allows us to look inside your pet's body without surgery. With over 27 years of experience in ultrasound, Anzer provides this useful diagnostic tool for detecting changes in the shape, size, tissue density, internal structure and position of abdominal organs (liver, spleen, pancreas, stomach, intestines, kidneys, adrenal glands, bladder, uterus and prostate gland) and can also identify most abdominal masses or tumors, as well as pregnancy diagnosis.


A cardiac ultrasound is indicated to evaluate your pet's heart when there is suspicion of heart disease of physical examination, for example, detection of a heart murmur, irregular heart rhythm or a safety precaution before anesthesia for senior patients. Our cardiac workup includes:

1. A physical exam, vitals check, and recorded murmurs if any,

2. Pulse oximetry,

3.  Blood pressure,

4.  Electrocardiogram  also known as EKG (evaluation of the electrical activity of the heart),

 5. Thoracic X-rays (image of the heart) 

 6. Echocardiography (ultrasound of the heart to evaluate the integrity of the near by major blood vessels,  cardiac valves, severity of a valves regurgitation, integrity of the pericardium and cardiac muscles).
